God continually wants to take us forward in our lives. It may seem at times that all we seem to be doing is taking steps AWAY from the direction we should be heading, but sometimes God just has to reposition us to be able to take the path He has for us and not the path we have put ourselves on.
When Joseph spoke out his dream of being a leader, his whole life seemed to move in the opposite direction !! NOTHING made sense and NOTHING seemed to line up with where he dreamed he was going.
When Donna and I spoke out our dream to move on from our church to a bigger premises, EVERYTHING that followed seemed to speak out the exact opposite.
* It is at this point, we need to keep our eyes FIXED on Christ.
* It is at this point, we need to KNOW that we have heard from God and not be double-minded.
* It is at this point that we need to dream BIGGER and not be shaken by the circumstances.
We DID locate a bigger building. We HAVE got more room for all our fantastic children !! People within the church have RISEN to occasion - thanks to everyone who has generously contributed financially and also been so generous with their time and talents.
